Ask Me Another

What We Do

The Care Quality Commission will be inspecting Telford & Wrekin Council social care services for older people and their carers in mid March. They will also look at the council’s safeguarding arrangements for vulnerable adults.

Are you…

• an older person?

•  help at home?

• a family carer?

• short term breaks?

• a relative?

• day activities or support?

• social work support?

If so you are invited to give CQC inspectors your views about local social care services for older people and safeguarding arrangements for vulnerable adults

The inspectors want to find out what your experience of these social care services has been like.

What do YOU think about:

• the range of care services the Council arranges?

• how easy it is to get the information you need to make decisions?

• how well care services respond to individual needs and preferences?

• what is good about the services you know?

• what is not so good about the services you know?

• what improvements do you think are needed?

This is your chance to give your views to inspectors and to help shape the inspection findings and influence the recommendations that will be made to the council.

You can do this by letting the Local Involvement Network know about your views and experiences - click here for our contact details - or by making direct contact with the CQC Lead Inspector, Tim Willis by:
