Bob Kiernan, chair of Telford and Wrekin Local Involvement Network (LINk) in 2008/09, wrote: ‘We are determined to use the LINk’s unique powers to ensure that the people of Telford receive the best services possible. Our aim is to make a real and lasting difference to the way that publicly-funded health and social care is provided.’

All Local Involvement Networks must produce an Annual Report as they are publicly funded bodies. We at Telford and Wrekin LINk, have now produced our Annual Report for 2008/09 and have submitted it to: the Secretary of State for Health, Telford and Wrekin Borough Council, The Care Quality Commission, West Midlands Strategic Health Authority and all local NHS Trusts.

Additionally, our report will be circulated to a wide range of other stakeholders including LINk members, voluntary and community sector groups and health and care providers.
