Have your say on HealthWatch
In July, as part of the White Paper ‘Equality and Excellence: Liberating the NHS’ proposals were announced to establish a new national health and social care consumer champion called HealthWatch and to evolve LINks into local HealthWatch organisations.
Two subsequently published consultations documents set out more detail on the HealthWatch proposal.
To help you to respond to the White Paper consultations, the Department of Health has published a briefing document that sets out the HealthWatch proposals, answers common questions and outlines some of the issues LINks might wish to think about when responding to the White Paper.
If you would like to be involved in helping develop HealthWatch Telford please contact us on enquiries@telfordandwrekinlink.org.uk or call 01952 614 180.

Monday, April 12th, 2010Important Notice
Sunday, March 14th, 2010The Care Quality Commission is currently inspecting services for vulnerable adults and also older people’s services that are provided by Telford Borough Council.
Anyone who uses these services (or has used them in the past or who may use them in the future) or their carers is invited to a public forum where you can tell the inspector what works well – and what needs to change. You can also write to the inspector or send an email with your comments.

Alternatively you can contact the local involvement network (please see our contact details) and we will present any concerns on your behalf.
We are also keen to find out about services that you think are very good so we can tell the inspector about these too.
Please get in touch with us before 23 March so that we can discuss your experience with you and pass your comments on to the inspector.
